I hadn’t been to the arch since the late 80s and I was impressed with how much has been done to the park. The museum down below some was a great experience. The trip up the arch was fun for my whole family, even my wife who is claustrophobic.

Once again this is free to get into. Love this about St Louis!!! It’s huge, first we parked in the South Entrance because we wanted to be close to the train. This place is like close to 100 acres. They have a train and a theater and every animal one can think of. We spent 6 hours and didn’t see all of it so expect to spend a day.

This place is such a gem. Despite being very large, there are a number of smaller gardens and paths that you can wander that give it a very intimate place. The flowers were, of course, amazing, but the information, the landscaping, the outreach events, even the food, were all outstanding. I regret that I only had two days to spend being immersed in this experience.

This place is amazing! There is always something new to find or see. I’ve took my kids there for years! Babies and tolddlers need to wait until older to visit but teenagers love it!

First time at this stadium. Beautiful stadium. We were on the second level with a great view of the arch and skyline & home plate. Paid a little more for tickets but well worth it. Friendly staff everywhere- from beginning to end of the game. We were at the Milwaukee Brewers game. Food is overpriced but this was anticipated. Plenty of clean bathrooms.

Amazing interior. Positively glitters from every angle. Using ancient techniques for the mosaics, the cathedral is WELL worth visiting. Be warned: there are TWO cathedrals that google recognizes as "Basilica of Saint Louis." The one called "the old cathedral" is a lovely place from the 18th century which is very nearby The Arch. The mosaiced one (reviewed here) is not too far away.

The main floor is fully accessible for wheelchairs, but the basement museum is not. The museum is mainly devoted to the building of the Cathedral and the mosaics, but has a 14th century Choir book on display, as well as vestments and various liturgical items from the past couple of centuries.

The main chapel, rotunda, side chapels...everything...are covered in mosaics. gorgeous work that use both the medieval style figures and some really great more modern style, telling the story of the city. If you go, keep looking up...everything changes as you walk around. All of fascinating and VERY colorful. We were privileged to hear a lovely 10 minutes from the main pipe organ toward the end of our hour there.

While the mosaics are the main draw the stained glass windows are a pure delight.

We took the Clydesdale tour and loved every second of it! Unfortunately the rest of the farm was closed for the off season. I look forward to returning to see more.

We were unaware when we booked our stay that we would be so close to this beautiful park.Everything had bloomed or blooming- it was picturesque. Birds everywhere and so we’re the cicadas. Cold spend the entire day on the green grass.

First and foremost it’s free to enter! It is truly a beautiful compound. The exhibits are amazing. I really enjoyed the Native American Art exhibit and the sculpture garden- just plan for 3-4 or more hours to look and read and enjoy.

During my visit in 2020, I attended a rare exhibit of DaVinci. Very educational and fun experience.

*Note: TripAdvisor does not offer a calendar for 2020, year I actually visited.*
