That tripped me up for a minute, until I remembered that Joe was meeting with Dr. Nicky, he'd call her Renaldo when he would talk about his relationship with Beck. 😅

It does sound super medieval and pretty sexy as well lol, but it is a lot older than that! Julian Calendar is almost 2,000 years old, and the thing is, we used Julian Calendar for like 1800 years, until 1800s I believe, correct me if I’m wrong please. The reason why we changed the calendar because we spotted an error by 11 minutes a day, saving up to 10 days. So we ditched Julian Calendar completely and went to Gregorian Calendar that we are all using at the moment. The thing is about Julian Calendar was that it completely changed the Roman Empire, and others as well, because it made sense at the time, and the calendar included the leap year as well! The Julian Calendar was pretty gorgeous to look at as well. The most interesting aspect about the Julian Calendar’s discovery somewhere in Italy was a high amount of days off, a high amount of religious activity, and the rest of work and others, I remembered this from my lectures so, again correct me if I’m wrong lol.

Interesting they have her birthdate listed, she's 2 years younger than Elizabeth Lail which would've made her 24 in Season 1. Sounds about right
At least in the book, Beck explicitly says just before Joe kills her that she is 24. It doesn't mention when her birthday is so it's possible that she is 24-turning-25 or that she turned 24 that year, but Beck is supposed to be 24.
Seeing her age kinda stresses me out bc she’s close to my age. So the idea that her character was only 24 when she died is just disturbing to me.
I am her age so I feel that lol. I had a hard time getting past her death when I watched Season 1 for the first time 2 weeks ago and I didn't even know her exact age. It's just a fictional TV show at the end of the day though, I'd like to think if it happened IRL Beck would be smart enough to leave his apartment immediately after finding the box, take the keys when she locked him in the cage, hit him more than once with the mallet, etc.
Peach's Facebook stated that they were in Freshman year of college in 2011. So I think a birth year of 1991-92 would be more accurate for Beck.
