Jan Ki Baat founder and known psephologist Pradeep Bhandari resigned from Zee News, he said in a post on X today (8 May).

Bhandari used to present shows like Taal Thok Ke at 5 pm, Aapka Sawal at 8 pm 24 Ki Sarkar at 10 pm on Zee News.

While informing about resignation, Bhandari said that he now will neither be hosting these shows nor presenting Exit Poll on Zee News this election season.

Social media users claimed that the resignation came after the Zee Media management decided to run an anti-BJP narrative this election.

The development signals a churn within a prominent media channel right in the middle of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Zee Media is one of the biggest media houses in India by reporting an annual revenue of over Rs 500 crore for the last many years.
