We are located at the end of a gated and secure tree-lined lane. We have a fabulous country outlook, but are only a few mins drive to the main motorway & public transport, 20 minute drive to Auckland airport (allow a bit longer in peak traffic).

Perfect for young couples and business travellers who have just arrived in NZ or who are on their way home.

The space
The Stables is a beautifully designed get-away that has featured in a magazine due to its unique style. The Stables was transformed from unused stables to an industrial-styled loft, offering all the features you would expect of a modern-day getaway - everything you need for a relaxed stay, combined with a beautiful country outlook. It is located next to the main house and has its own access and parking. There is a lovely big covered deck that overlooks the backyard and pool. The pool and backyard are shared with us, but the Stables themselves are completely separate.

Guest access
The key to the Stables is in a lockbox and the code is provided once your booking is confirmed.

At night the lane gates close automatically. We will provide you with a remote gate opener to take with you if you are planning to be out in the evening.

Guests may use the pool between 8am and 8pm during summer.

Other things to note
The kitchen includes a microwave, toaster and jug and is therefore most suited to short term stays for guests who plan to dine out. There is a very small mini-fridge (4L) for milk or a bottle of wine, but will not fit much else. If you need to keep food chilled, we are happy to put it in our fridge in the main house.

There are no laundry facilities, but there is a great laundromat not too far away. Iron and ironing board are provided on request.
