Good service to begin with but then got forgotten after the main course. Difficult to get anyone’s attention and seemed like the priority was to clean down from the busy lunchtime service rather than take our desert and coffee order. Pudding was amazing when it arrived.

Conveniently located and a jewel in the Carluccio's crown. Food is cooked to perfection and service is beyond peer. However can you improve the Parmesan fries a little please?

Food and service fine. The bill had a hidden 12.5% surcharge, on the bottom of the menu (not on the online menu) there is a statement that 'some' restuarants 'may' impose a 12.5% 'service charge'. When I go to the supermarket I don't have to pay a 'service charge'. At the garage I don't pay a 'service charge' even though the mechanic has put in a lot more effort than a cook or waiter. Prices have risen by over 50% in the last year or two. Minimum wage increases have ensured staff no longer rely on charity. Certainly they do better than a care assistant or cleaner, with less effort. This is the UK not continental Europe, theiving is not acceptable. The menu prices are sufficient to pay for food, cooking and rents. It's not my job to subsidise the restaurant's wage bill. We booked in advance because this Carluccio's is usually full in the evening, around 30% of tables were occupied. Now we know why. We are not prepared to condone theiving or dishonesty. If you need to raise prices do so and we can judge value. Dishonesty leads to boycott.

Enjoyed a pleasant lunch with family in South Kensington . The chairs were a squeeze to get into however the food and service more than compensated. I felt the food was good value for london , tasty well presented . Definitely will visit again .
