It was a bit confusing to figure out if you seat yourself, if they seat you, order at the bar, or if a server comes to you. They have all of them.
The service was good after we figured it out. The drink selection was limited to mostly beer. The food was pretty good. We had appetizers and drinks. The prices are fair.
The location and atmosphere are what really make this place great. The indoor-outdoor areas are really nice. The building is an old highway department building and is brick and industrial. The outdoor area is large and comfy.
They have lots of parking. It is a really nice place to get an adult dinner when in town for Indiana Beach Amusement park.

We stopped by after visiting a local winery down the road and wanted a bit to eat. Glad we found this brewery and eatery. I had the hot wings and loaded tots and my wife had a pizza. All of the food was excellent. We both enjoyed the taste tests of beer and enjoyed the pints of our favorites. Very good beer, service and food, you cannot go wrong

Kopacetic features only craft beer for Indiana breweries. Each time you go in check the big board to see the featured beers in 4 categories. (Light, Dark, Malty & Hoppy). You can also try craft brewed at Kopacetic.
The Bar is in the old Indiana Highway Department building which also houses the Scoreboard restaurant. Great sandwiches and pizza. Every Thursday evening is Trivia Night at the bar. Monticello is lucky to have this treasure!

We arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday so we expected the place to be busy. Great decor, good beer and food selection so it should have been a great experience but we got a super crabby server. Met the duper nice bar tender first (Shawn) who bused the table for us and then our server, Michael arrived. Less than friendly. Took our drink order and arrived with an “8 Oz margarita” on the rocks which was filled completely to the top with ice and maybe four oz of margarita for $5. Our waiter then returned for our dinner order. I wanted the ham and cheese but asked for a regular bun as I don’t care for pretzel buns and was rudely old no. I was so surprised and asked why and was told they don’t do that. I then ordered a burger and was told flatly, “not available”. No burgers on a Saturday? I finally ordered a tenderloin which I really wasn’t in the mood for but was running out of options. The food took a long time to arrive and the appetizer arrived with our meal but that is to be expected when they were so busy. A few more servers and cooks would have made for a better turn around time but the waiter’s lousy attitude bothered us much more than the wait time. He tried to apologize for his behavior after we honestly answered how everything was. Said he had been on since 11:00 and a huge crowd had come in that afternoon. He brought me a free margarita after apologizing for being rude but then two more tables of people arrived for him to serve and we saw very little of him. Finally tracked him down for our bills and we left less than impressed. The food was good and reasonably priced. Great beer selection also reasonably priced. Three different kinds of margaritas “on tap” but a very poor value. We travelled nearly an hour to check this place out and not sure we would return.

Just like it says - fantastic addition to the Monticello area. Nice, thoughtful selection of beers, great staff, and the food options from the adjacent Scoreboard restaurant -- honestly, some of the best meals I've had recently in the area have been off the Scoreboard menu. Only slight complaint - wish they'd keep their taps a little colder than they do. However, prices are spot on, options for half pints and the flights are awesome, love the open room atmosphere.

Had the tenderloin, was not the usual very wide face and thin, was thick and fit a standard bun almost perfectly and this was a unique and I liked the change up. Very aesthetic environment and staff was friendly

We went hear to eat before going on cruise. Menu had changed since the last visit. Mostly soup and sandwiches, with some wings and pizza. The have a bar side. Friendly and clean. Microbrewery has a good selection. Give them a try.

This place is awesome. Driving back from dinner looking at places in Monticello. The craft beers are awesome. They also have a lot of bourbons. It is a hidden gem.

We met up at the bar with friends here. We were all from out of the area. Brass tacks: Beer is delicious, wings were great, service was horribly slow & female bartender was crabby, bordering on rude. The other bartender, Mike, was nice enough but seemed over his head behind the bar at times & it was not that busy. I’d definitely go back again regardless of the service.

Stopped for lunch and a beer. The beer was excellence and the food was awesome. We had great service and a lovely time. Great job Kopacetic.

Kopacetic Beer Factory is closed Monday & Tuesday, open 4-9pm Wed and Thursday, 4-10pm Friday and Saturday, and noon until 9pm on Sunday.
