Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News Park cranks up both the mood and the fear factor for a devilishly good supernatural thriller. Rated: 3/4 Feb 1, 2023 Full Review Peter Rainer FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) For what it is, it's effective. Jan 18, 2023 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com This throwback to a horror style that seemed more prevalent in the late ‘00s and early ‘10s makes me excited about what this filmmaker has to, sorry, offer in the future. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 13, 2023 Full Review Paul Lê Tales from the Paulside The Offering finally takes on too much by having two main stories compete for the spotlight. Rated: 2/5 Jul 23, 2023 Full Review Jordy Sirkin Jordy Reviews It With rich mythology and an intriguing setup, THE OFFERING delivers pleasant frights while exploring an engaging family drama. May 20, 2023 Full Review Marshall Shaffer Decider The Offering is one you can refuse. Genre enthusiasts might find it a unique enough variation for a satisfying watch, but those who need more than the formula are going to find this familiar and forgettable. Jose Raul B This movie reminded me a lot of The Autopsy of Jane Doe. Not bad, but i really felt like I was watching some movie twice. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/27/24 Full Review Dave G Ok acting with just a couple of jump scares and draped in some Jewish tradition or folklore that was somewhat beyond me. As someone who is usually all for a horror involving the supernatural I felt that the movie got in its own way due to the plot. Ghosts/demons, a morgue, it's usually enough but not this time. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/09/24 Full Review Lorena S It was a waste of my time. I didn't like the endings and the carather weren't really developed. Skip it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/25/24 Full Review Abner R You won't regret watching it. Top movies from this year Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/23/23 Full Review Alessandro M A so-so directed, useless film. And... the "spin"? There are far better horror movies using jewish imagery Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/03/23 Full Review B L A new cultural approach to horror, Super Refreshing!
