Oscar Niemeyer
In this post I will research about Oscar Niemeyer and his work which inspired me and related to my project.
Oscar Neimeyer (1907-2012) - Brazilian architect, one of the greatest architects in global modernist movement. Neimeyer created more than 5000 buildings in different parts of the world: America, Africa and Europe. In 1936, he joined a Le Corbusier team, where Neimeyer designed the headquarters of Ministry of Education and Health, Rio de Janeiro. In 1956, ex-president invited Neimeyer to participate large urban project to construct new capital - Brasilia. For this project he constructed building for National Congress in 1960 (Baratto, 2018). In this post I was to speak more about this piece of work which inspired me for my future development.
