In the Fall of 2017, East Tennessee State University began playing football on campus for the first time since November 22, 2003. William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium, the Home for Buccaneer Football, is a classic horseshoe designed stadium nestled at the foot of Buffalo Mountain in the campus' southwest corner. In 2023, ETSU Athletics and Bank of Tennessee announced the naming rights of the field at William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium -- making it Bank of Tennessee Field at William B., Greene, Jr. Stadium.
