WWE Friday Night Smackdown: Time, channel, what to know ahead of the action

The end of the work week means it's time to tune it to WWE's Friday Night Smackdown.

Along with Monday Night Raw, Smackdown has been one of WWE's weekly shows after debuting in 1999.

Smackdown is home to two WWE champions, but the brand has the biggest star in the company in "The Tribal Chief" and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. The United State Champion Austin Theory is also on Smackdown, along with the men's and women's tag team champions making appearances on both Smackdown and Raw.

What time does WWE Smackdown start?

Smackdown airs every Friday at 8 p.m. ET.

What channel is WWE Smackdown on?

Smackdown airs on Fox. If there is scheduling conflicts with Fox Sports, like the World Series, it will air on FS1.

How far will things continue to unravel for The Bloodline?

After a heated confrontation last week that ended with Solo Sikoa attacking Jimmy Uso and siding with Reigns, Jimmy and Jey Uso must figure out what to do now that their brother has gone against them. The Usos will appear, expecting to speak on the divide within The Bloodline

Money in the Bank qualifiers

The field for the Money in the Bank matches in London is starting to take shape. Four matches will take place Friday for two spots in the men's and women's matches.

  • Shotzi vs. Damage CTRL’s Iyo Sky for a spot in the women's Money in the Bank match.
