Nina Metz Chicago Tribune It’s an accumulation of moments that give you a window into the lives of the rich and famous, while also showcasing their talents as performers. Rated: 2.5/4 May 22, 2023 Full Review Joyce Slaton Common Sense Media And that's what SmartLess: On the Road captures. The three TV/movie/podcast stars have a lot of chemistry, and mostly what they do, onstage and off, is make fun of each other. May 31, 2023 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba It’s too much. It’s way too much. I will concede that it demystifies their celebrity, but it also illustrates that their celebrity may be the most interesting thing about them. May 25, 2023 Full Review Joel Keller Decider SmartLess: On The Road takes three well-known actors and shows them acting like three buddies on a long road trip, and we wouldn’t want the show to be anything other than that. Sherri N I actually wanted to read reviews (I'm watching it now and am on the last episode) to see if everyone had the same feelings I do about Jason Bateman. Between his food obsession and very bad intuition about the guests he chose, my entire opinion of him has changed. I'm shocked. The worst part is he wants to blame everyone else; the audience, the guest, etc. Really surprising. Sean is hilarious and seems like a nice guy. I really didn't know much about Will before, but he too, seems like a decent guy. It's entertaining enough though. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/08/23 Full Review Jim D It used to be fun, but the unmedicated ADHD behavior of the hosts has moved beyond the initially entertaining banter on the podcast to be annoyingly amplified by the live audience energy. Basically now, if you are at all interested in actually hearing a guest answer a question, you just want to shout ‘STFU for 5 f'ing seconds!' They interrupted AOC so many times that she never got to answer any of the first six question thrown at her. They all need to start taking the oft mentioned CBD gummies before the shows. After a season or so, the friend banter just gets repetitive, ever more narcissistic, and boring - making it even more important for a guest to occasionally get to talk without being talked-over at great volume by the hosts. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/15/23 Full Review Kevyn G It just makes me so happy. The witty banter and then the Ted Lasso esque way Jason, Will, & Sean interact with one another. They uplift each other and have deep conversations like the Diamond dogs and I just love it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/22/23 Full Review Pam S Don't remember when I laughed so much. Loved it!! Jason, Will, and Sean are so great together. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/06/23 Full Review abc a Loved it. Can't wait till next season Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/06/23 Full Review Eileen M I love these guys! So funny! Next season have more female and bipod guests!
