For a few years, I've been eagerly waiting on word about a season 6 and 7 release. When I saw this set being offered on Amazon, I didn't have to debate the question for long. I think it's an import but it played just fine in my Blu-ray player. This is the only set that contains all the seasons!
The quality is just fine, they look exactly how I've seen them on television. Seasons 1-5 are exactly like those previously released (same menu layout and such), except for the fact that the discs aren't color coded. Seasons 6 and 7 aren't the best seasons but I feel a sense of finality, now that I own the whole show.

With streaming forcing ads and then taking Hitchcock Presents off every other month, why take it? Get this DVD set. Yes it says region 4 and is a Australian import, but it is in the US NTSC format (so no sped up scenes). IT WILL PLAY JUST FINE IN THE US. The episodes look very VERY good for being DVD. Nice bit rate. You get all the episodes including the 12 episodes not on streaming and the extra unaired episode.
Sadly this show ran for so long that it is doubtful it will ever be scanned for HD release. This is probably all we will ever get. That being said, these are some very nice looking episodes. Very highly recommended. A huge treasury of entertainment hosted by THE MASTER himself!
