I am a big fan of anime with OP mc! I mean, who doesn’t like to watch an anime where the MC is so OP that nobody can defeat him!

Wait?? Did I just hear that you don’t like anime with OP mc?? Well, sorry, but we can’t be Tomodachi anymore:((!

Anyways, let’s start with the list since there is A LOT to cover today and I really hope you enjoy the list!

Ultramarine Magmell follows the story of our MC, Inyo, who found himself in a continent by the name of Miguel, it was heard that there are a lot of hidden secrets in the continent. In order to find them, Inyo gets an ability that allows him to create basically ANYTHING that he wants, but he needs to know what the thing is made of or else he won’t be able to create it.

With that ability, he creates some amazing stuff!

Assassin’s Pride follows the story of our MC, Kufa, who was ordered to kill Melida, but rather than killing her… He betrayed his father and started protecting Melida. During the middle fight, he transformed into a VAMPIRE!

Due to that, he became INSANELY OP!

The name is EXTREMELY long, so for now, we will just call it The World’s Finest Assassin.

The World’s Finest Assassin follows the story of our MC, Lugh, who was an extremely OP assassin in his previous life. On the day when he decided to retire and become a teacher, the organization assassinated him.

So basically in simple words, he used to work with the Organization, and they were also the ones who assassinated him. Feels painful how he devoted his life fighting people and the organization killed him like he meant nothing to them. He suddenly found himself in front of a goddess. The Goddess ordered him to assassinate the hero, since the hero will destroy the world.

So he accepted the offer, chose his abilities, and with his previous knowledge, he became an insanely fast learner and became INSANELY OP!!

Blast Of Tempest follows the story of our MC, Yoshino, who had a crush on his best friend’s sister. After a while, something unexpected happens… Yoshino’s crush died. He was hungry for revenge, but at first, he didn’t really give much attention to this revenge stuff.

His best friend hired some witch that helps him to find the killer of Yoshino’s crush, aka his sister.

There are also some kind of ancient trees involved here, but I won’t be spoiling them since I want you to watch this anime and find out yourself about what happens next and if  they were able to take revenge?

 

17. Bofuri: I Don’t Want To Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense

A new popular VR MMO game has just been released, and it’s becoming insanely popular in Japan.

One of our MC’s friends tells our MC about that game and after begging her to play, she went on the game. For some reason, she only maxed out her defense and because of that, SHE BECAME INSANELY OP!

Nobody was able to defeat her, she got some insane OP skills along with it too, and the best part… She got a shield that instantly killed someone. Woah, that’s a little too OP lmao!

Mob Psycho 100 follows the story of our MC, who was an insanely overpowered Esper. Even though he was so OP, for some reason he became a student of someone. Literally the whole anime, he thought his teacher had some GREAT powers.

But it turns out, his teacher had no powers lmao!

Our MC, Satan, who was an insanely OP demon lord in another world, had to flee because of the hero. Satan made a portal and went through it, only to find himself on Earth with no magic left! 

So, how are they op? Well, if the demon lord is around people who are scared or something, he gets power. One of his army commanders came to earth and tried to kill our MC, suddenly! The people around became scared, and our MC got powers and in an instant, our MC TELEPORTED IN FRONT OF HIM! How OP!! Also, the hero comes to this world in order to kill him, but her plan fails.

 

13. Log Horizon

Log Horizon follows the story of our MC, who wanted to test out the new update of the game called Elder Tale.

As he joins in with his fellow friends, this just turned into a disaster. As he decides to leave, he finds out that there is no log–out button?! But the good thing is that the players can respawn! The main city is covered by bandits.

To prevent bandits, our MC took over the city, made a guild, and allied with one of the most powerful guilds. The reason he is OP is that he is a veteran player and max level!

Isekai are my favorite genre currently, and I have probably watched a  lot of them, but this one here is one of my favorite isekai anime.

Overlord follows the story of our MC, who was an insanely OP player in a game by the name of Yggdrasil. Every game has an end to it, so Yggdrasil’s end came. Our MC decided to log on and spend his final moments in the game.

Something weird happens, even though the game shuts down… why is he not logged out yet? What’s weirder is that all the NPC’s (Non-Playable Characters) have feelings!

 

11. Sword Art Online

Well, I am sure that I won’t have to explain a lot about this one!

Sword Art Online, also known as SAO, follows the story of our MC, Kirito, who was a test player of a famous MMORPG game, but who knew that when it was released… the players won’t be able to log out?

With thousands of players trapped and the only way to go back to the original world is by defeating the final boss. Also, did I mention that when someone dies in the game, they die in real life too?

With the help of Kirito’s OP sword skills and techniques, they were able to defeat the final boss and leave the game!

 

10. That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime

In the anime community, many people believe that the longer the titles, the better the anime will be, and it’s true!

The title might seem weird, and you are probably thinking, aren’t slimes the weakest mob ever? Well, you are correct, but how did he become so OP? Well, let me explain.

Our MC, Rimuru, who got stabbed to death and reincarnates as a slime. Soon after, he went deep into the cave and… FOUND A DRAGON!

He became best friends with the dragon, and Rimuru promised to save him (the Dragon) from the cage. Also, the dragon’s name is Veldora. With the help of his slime powers. He ate the dragon, I mean he put him in his stomach for analysis and due to some magical Slime engulfing abilities, he absorbed the Dragon’s power and added it to his own, he became INSANELY OP!

 

9. No Game No Life

Who expected this to be on this list?

No Game No Life follows the story of our MC, who had a sister. They both were OP players of a game, and they called themselves Blank. Yes, that might sound like a weird name, but it kinda sounds cool to me lmao!

Anyways, back to the topic. One day, someone messaged him asking a few questions. They answered them like if they like their world or if they wished to be born into a new world? Suddenly, everything glitched out, and they found themselves in the sky. They also saw a god in front of them, the god told them that they have been transported into a world where everything is decided on a game.

They quickly make their way down to earth and find out that humanity is the lowest race here, and they might become extinct soon.

Want me to explain what I meant by “everything is decided on a game?”

Well, lemme explain quickly. It means that whether it’s for money, or throne or EVEN getting a role of the god then you will have to play a game and the winner will get the money, throne, or the role of God.

Wonder what happens next:)!

 

8. Noragami

A lot of you have probably heard of this anime, it’s one of my favorite anime too!

Noragami follows the story of our MC, who was a god. For a god, he has to be popular, right? Wrong. Not even a single soul knew about it, only a few gods knew about him. He had no shrine, no money nor even a weapon to use at first!

He soon found a soul that became his weapon.

He just wants to do one thing, he just wants to make his own shrine.

 

7. Rising Of The Shield Hero

The reason he is OP is that from the start, he got insane abilities like Blood Sacrifice and his rage shield. The rage shield awakens when he is angry, and it’s pretty OP, and he had it from the start, but he didn’t know about it lmao!

 

6. The Irregular At Magic High School

This anime is one of my favorites currently, it just has a unique way of telling the story!

Black Clover follows the story of our MC, Asta, who was born with no magic. He trained day by day in order to get his grimoire. On the grimoire receiving day, he got no grimoire. He also had a brother by the name of Yuno.

Yuno got a 4 leaf clover wind grimoire, it’s one of the most OP out there. Some guy decided to attack Yuno and steal his grimoire and all of a sudden! Asta gets a 5 LEAF CLOVER Grimoire! How is that even possible??

He got swords that nullify any magic, basically ANTI-MAGIC. I won’t spoil any further, hehehe!

 

4. God Of High School

Jin Mori found it interesting and participated. It was rumored that whoever is the last one standing gets one of their wishes GRANTED!

 

3. Death Note

For those who don’t, Death Note follows the story of our MC, Light Yagami, who was a normal teenager. One day, he found a strange book by the name of Death Note.

He started writing people’s names and found out the people’s names he wrote died. He quickly found out that if he writes someone’s name on the book, he dies. He meets with the book owner, a shinigami. He becomes really OP and kills criminals after criminals.

 

2. The Misfit Of The Demon King Academy

The Misfit Of The Demon King Academy follows the story of our MC, Anos Voldigod, who was an insanely badass demon king who died. Soon, he got resurrected, and wanna know a funny thing?

As he is a demon lord, he was able to grow up so fast, from child to Adult. So his family started to realize that he is unique, to say the least. lol!

He soon went into an academy and met some more people, he became insanely badass and op.

Who doesn’t like a character who can kill someone with their heartbeat, lmao!

 

1. One Punch Man

I am sure that all of you probably have heard about this anime, this is one of the most popular anime out there currently.

For those who haven’t, let me explain. One Punch Man follows the story of our MC, Saitama, who was really weak at the start, WAITT! But isn’t this the list where the MC is op from the start?

Well, yes it is. From episode 1, he was able to kill ANYONE with one punch. The backstory appeared in sooner episodes on how he got strong, so basically, he was strong from the start! The name already tells so much about this anime, ima not spoil this masterpiece anymore!

 

Conclusion

Alright, I know some of you out there are offended saying “Why isn’t this one higher than this one?!”
