A worthy successor to the Lego Movie, where Lego Batman's character is fleshed out... yes really. This movie is hilarious as all get out. There is non-stop reference humor, and even if steeped in the lore, you are gonna miss stuff the first time around. It even has a message about being part of a team and making friends (and putting their lives in danger). If I had to ding this movie, it is paced for a Ritalin addicted ADHD 12 year old, and all the bright lights and flashing got annoying after a while.
