Housing

GradMAP Housing

Our 6,370-acre campus is nestled between the twin cities of Champaign and Urbana, often called "C-U". Here you'll find many housing options to suit your needs. Some neighborhoods are within walking or biking distance and many are accessible by public transportation.

University Housing

University Housing offers a variety of living options for graduate students via Graduate Upper-Division Residence Halls and University Apartments.
  • Three uniquely different apartment communities are available: University Apartments at Orchard Downs, Goodwin-Green, and Ashton Woods.
  • The graduate upper-division halls, Daniels Hall and Sherman Hall, offer welcoming, diverse communities, with great amenities and convenient locations.

Off-Campus Housing

For those preferring off-campus living arrangements, privately owned housing is plentiful in Champaign and Urbana.

Contact the Off-Campus Community Living Office for resources about off-campus housing, including links to local utility companies and information about signing leases.
