• I studied Mass Media & Communication in Panteion University of Athens.
• I worked as a senior copywriter and assistant Creative Director in big advertising agencies like Adel Saatchi & Saatchi, Spot Thompson and Cream Advertising for 10 years before winning several Ermis Awards for multiple Greek and international brands.
• I then teamed up with ANT1 network’s trailer department where my concept trailers won 2 Promax awards in New York.
• Due to my affinity for storytelling, I studied Creative Writing for two years in Deree, the American College of Greece.

• In 2010 I won first prize from the Scriptwriters Guild of Greece and t-short for my short movie “Moments of Wisdom”.
• In 2020 I was the head writer of Alpha TV’s remake of the Colombian telenovela “La Suegra”, and before that I worked for 7 remakes and 1 original comedy for Greek tv networks.
• In 2019 I won a scholarship from the German Tv and Film Academy to study in Serial Eyes, an exclusive postgraduate program for 12 screenwriters from all over Europe. I was taught how to write character driven stories from European and American writers and I joined a writers’ room for the first time. Since then, I’ve been part of several virtual writers rooms in France, UK and Germany. My mini dramedy series “Babython” was shortlisted in Studio 21 Drama Series Competition 2022 in London.
• I still develop new ideas for mini series and movies and I work part time as a freelance copywriter. I also write children stories and teach storytelling and screenwriting at seminars.

TV Series

Μy first ever TV experience was co-writing an original police comedy for one of the major Greek networks (ANT1 TV) in 2009. Throughout the next decade, I became a staff writer for several remakes until I gradually moved on to writing outlines and story plots. Finally, during the 2021-2022 season, I landed the Head Writing position for Alpha TV’s family soap remake “La Suegra”. I have since been involved in the development of several mini-series and book adaptations in Greece and the foreign tv industry. I also work as a story consultant helping other writers develop Bibles and TV pilots.

Story Consulting

Since 2009 I have been continually working on original screenplays and remakes of foreign formats and have gone through all stages of writing. Through my experience, I gained a valuable understanding about what actually works and what doesn't. Attending Serial Eyes, Europe’s premier postgraduate training program in Tv series development, helped me to further develop my knowledge of structure, character development and the deeper "anatomy" of a screenplay. This was reinforced by my participation in international writers rooms. In Greece, I worked as a story consultant on the crime novel adaptation "Save Me" (2022) while in its early stages of development.

TV Bibles / Pitch Documents

Everyone has an idea that sounds great in their head. But that doesn’t mean they know how to shape it into a final and sellable "product”. Most importantly, no tv/film executive has the time to read through an entire scripted episode of a series proposal. Having submitted many proposals – and signed 3 option agreements - following international standards, together with my team of experienced screenwriters, I can assist you in the submission of a TV Bible or a short Pitch Document that presents efficiently the concept of an original story or a book. Short Film

I won first prize to shoot my short movie “Moments of Wisdom” in the 2010 competition held by t-short and the Scriptwriters Guild of Greece.

Screenwriting Seminars

In addition to my university studies and my master's degree, my passion for storytelling led me to dozens of live and online seminars taught by masters of screenwriting such as Robert Mc Kee, Aaron Sorkin, Shonda Rhimes and Steven Bernstein. At the same time, I immersed myself in countless books on the art of screenwriting. Needless to say, the best experience I earned came from my many years of writing scripts of all forms (short, film, television). Eager to share this knowledge in a brief and understandable way with those who dream of writing their own compelling story for television or film, I created on line screenwriting seminars for both beginner and advanced levels. Trailers

For two years I was responsible for many of the concepts featured in ANT1’s On air promotion department. Some of the trailers I created as a member of the station's extended and high-powered trailer team were awarded with Promax awards. The Promax Awards are the world's leading awards for outstanding achievement in television marketing and design. Furthermore, a trailer I created together with Pink Elephant agency won a Silver Telly Award in New York, in the Best Movie Promo category.

Advertising

Advertising was my first brush with copywriting after I graduated from the Department of Mass Media and Communication of the Panteion University in Athens. After gaining valuable experience from the biggest advertising agencies in Greece, where I worked as a senior copywriter and assistant creative director in campaigns for very high-profile brands, I continue to work as a freelancer for Greek and international brands in the field of both above and below the line communication. I hold one Gold and two Silver Ermis Awards. I also create web content for touristic platforms and other clients.

First prize (financial) from the Ministry of Development for the name “Eliofos” and the design of an olive oil packaging for the international year of the Olive tree.
