  • Duluth values and prioritizes the voice of each and every student. Our Student Advisory Council (SAC), Gwinnett Student Leadership Team (GSLT), and LEAD groups meet regularly with local administration, Duluth city officials and GCPS leaders to collaborate on school and community processes and initiatives.

  • The graduating class of 2023 had 4 finalists for the Governor's Honors Program, 2 Questbridge Scholars, and 1 Dream Opportunity Scholar.

  • This graduating class of 2023 had 4 ROTC cadets who earned the Seal for Leadership Skills, 53 seniors who earned the Georgia Department of Education CTE diploma seal, 8 seniors who earned the Georgia Department of Education CTE Distinguished Pathway Skills seal, 107 seniors who earned the Georgia Department of Education Fine Arts seal, and one senior who through his Maxwell NASA HUNCH program visited NASA to share his innovative technology product design.

  • The class of 2023 earned $4 million in additional scholarships, not including the HOPE Scholarship.

  • The Georgia Department of Education has named Duluth High School an Advanced Placement (AP) Honors School, recognizing the accomplishments of our students and staff in Advanced Placement coursework.

  • Principal Eric Davidson was honored as the 2023 Mary Jo Hannaford Administrator of the Year. This award highlights the understanding and value administrators place on the role, work, and contributions of the counseling staff in support of GCPS students.

  • The Duluth High School Nutrition Department won the Star Award from the Spectrum Autism Center in recognition and celebration of excellence in inclusion in employment.

  • The Duluth drama program was Region 7 champion and 2nd runners-up in the state One Act Play competition.

  • The Duluth High School e-sports team won back-to-back state championships during the 2022-23 school year.

  • The swim and dive staff won Gwinnett County Girls Coaching Staff of the year.
