Broken Bracelet is a self-produced album by American singer-songwriter Michelle Branch, released independently on June 1, 2000. The album features songs she wrote herself when she was fourteen and fifteen, with the production taking on an acoustic feel.
There were no singles released from the album. Several songs, such as “Sweet Misery”, “I’d Rather Be in Love”, “Goodbye to You” and “If Only She Knew” would later appear on her 2001 album The Spirit Room, featuring different production.

What have the artists said about the album?
I was 14 and 15 when I wrote my first album. The record was not personal at all. It was what it was. I lived that record up until I was 19. Everyone was listening to it, looking at me as a 19 year old and saying, wait, you’ve wrote all these songs, and I’m like, no, I have so many new songs I want you to hear.
