Not as dark or intense as Schickert's psychotic glare on the album cover would have you believe but still manages to create waves of unease that ripple with the layered guitars that permeate the album. It builds upon the effective yet fairly 1-dimensional debut to create a varied yet singular paranoid vision.

hardly über but definitely fällig and absolutely NOT überfällig

varied, flowing, moody, paranoid, distant, intense and mesmirising. A few meaningless and probably inaccurate descriptions for one of the mos interesting, and my favourite, kraut releases.

Schickert's chief accomplishment, and one of the best latter-day krautrock albums. Quite varied, too, but all coming together as a conceptual whole.

better than Can.

One of the most underrated krautrock gems. Schickert's guitar talents really come full speed on the opening track, and the production overall is stellar. What really makes this album a strong one, though, is the overall cohesion, as each track practically flows into the next. There aren't really any tracks that stand out on this one, but all is forgiven considering that this album is meant to be listened to as a whole in one sitting.

Hidden treasure.

Outstanding motorik-styled krautrock. Close in spirit to the work of Neu and Harmonia - the title of the first track, "Puls," is as good an explanation as any as to what to expect. A much-played personal favourite.
