An excellent release from Hip-O-Select. A very rich package with 4CDs, 64-page booklet with an essay and helpful information about the recordings, 4 postcard-sized photos and a poster. When I listened at first I noticed less high-end and more growling, exciting mid-high frequencies than in other rereleases. Normally I would think less high end would mean less airiness and clarity, but this remaster actually makes the instruments feel more 'together' and therefore gain clarity and warmth. An absolute joy to listen to.
