It was very easy to install. I installed mine outside and I got way more channels than my indoor antenna. Try to keep your Rg6 cable as short as possible and aim the antenna in different directions while you rescan for channels. I used the 50 ft at first, then I used a 25 ft cable and gained two more channels.
