ROV TRAINING COURSES

 

We are World Wide Training Establishment Member of the International Marine Contractors Association, IMCA participating in the Remote Systems & ROV Division based the Europe & Africa Section.

 

  • FULL PREMIUM ROV PILOT TECHNICIAN GRADE II

    Our most complete ROV training. Besides the ROV PREMIUM course modules, once this is completed you will perform an additional 4 weeks of training/internship program to develop and achieve more experience. Tasks of maintenance and troubleshooting in a Work class ROV in our workshop also will be done with a Workclass ROV that we have for training purposes in our workshop. From 25 to 40 hours in a Work class ROV simulator in several scenarios from the Oil & Gas Industry will be done.

  • ROV Pilot Tech. Premium

    This course is one of the most comprehensive course in the industry to train as an Commercial ROV Pilot Technician Grade II. The ROV Premium Course Includes the ROV Familiarization Basic Introductory Module, Fiber Optics, Hydraulics, Electronics, ROV Pilot Technician Grade II, Safety in High Voltage, Work Class Simulator, 7 Function Work Class Manipulator and additional training competences.

  • ROV Pilot Technician Grade II

    The ROV Pilot Tech. Grade II course is for new participants who want to enter the ROV Professional industry and have an advanced level of electricity and electronics of knowledges or personnel with knowledge of ROV seeking professional Certification and extra knowledge.

  • Observation Class ROV Pilot Technician

    This 40 to 60 hour duration course provides the necessary knowledge for ROV maintenance, handling and Piloting Skills of Observation Class ROVs used in fish farms, professional diving, oceanography, pipeline inspections, dams, environmental projects, underwater archeology, etc...

  • IMCA ROV Introductory Course

    2 weeks duration IMCA aproved Introductory training courses for remotely operated vehicle personnel.
    Hybrid online/in-person training.

  • Online ROV Familiarization Basic Introductory Module

    "It is recommended that new personnel to the ROV industry attend an introductory module before their first trip offshore”.

  • ROV Fiber Optics (FO)

    Familiarization with the procedures and elements used with fiber optics in ROV systems, tools used, fault detection and repair procedures, multimode and single mode, tether and umbilical systems, remarks with 3M ST Hot-melt and Unicam crimp, used accessories, connectors. ..

  • WorkClass ROV Maintenance & Repairs

    120 hour course for ROV Pilots Technicians who want to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of WorkClass ROV Systems (WCROV) and 7-function hydraulic manipulators.

  • Safety in High Voltage

    Safety in High Voltage Course for ROV Pilot Technicians who may be involved in maintenance, repair or operations with ROVs that use or can use High Voltage (HV more than 1000 volts).

  • ROV Pilot Flying Hours

    We offer you the possibility to realize extra flying hours with ROV systems in different environments simulating real operations..

  • Internship for ROV Pilots

    During the time of the internship students will undertake shore-based training in the QSTAR SUBSEA SOLUTIONS ROV services department, as well as gain extra experience performing maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, Launch & Recovery operations and Piloting skills.

  • Introduction to the Offshore Industry

    45 hour ONLINE course, recommended for staff who are going to work and / or want to become familiar with the Onshore & Offshore industry. English or Spanish language.

  • OGUK UKOOA Medical Certificate

    Medical Certificate for OGUK - UKOOA Medical Certificates Required for Professionals in the Offshore Sector.

  • IMIST

    IMIST (International Minimum Industry Safety Training) is an OPITO standard which supports the global Oil and Gas Industry to meet safety initiative targets. The IMIST standard ensures that workers have the necessary safety awareness and training to reduce risk and ultimately reduce the number of incidents

  • IMCA Competence assessments

    Pass to ROV Pilot Technician Grade I, ROV Senior Pilot, ROV Supervisor and ROV Superintendent. The process will depend on your experience and documents that are contributed to validate it.
