Before Detroit, Michigan’s Diana Ross became a member of the iconic all-lady group, The Supremes, she grew up in a large family of seven siblings, who all happened to be a neighbor to the legendary Smokey Robinson. When Ross was a teenager, her schooling interests involved clothing design as this was her original passion before taking a serious interest in a musical career.
