Extreme Makeover : Home Edition

Howie Huber has dedicated his life to helping others. He's a firefighter who once rescued a family of four from a burning apartment building. As dedicated as he is to providing aid and safety to others, Howie's own family is forced to live in small farmhouse that is categorically unsafe. Can the team makeover their house into an amazing new home while for the Hubers?

Ty and the team take a trip to the Hamptons. No, not those hamptons. They head down to Green County, Missouri, where they, and special guest, Ashley Tisdale, are in town to help the Hamptons, a family with big hearts who are stuck in a small house.

This week, Ty and the team head for the Hills - literally! They are off to Suffield, Connecticut to create some space for the Hill Family, all 13 of them! Special celebrity guest Xzibit provides some much needed muscle for this loving family, as they have most definitely outgrown their home.

The "Extreme team" is on the road again - this time heading to Lancaster, Texas to help the Marshall Family. And, this week, Ty and the gang call on country superstar Trace Adkins to get on the bus with them. Trace is the perfect person to help due to his background in construction, his hard-working attitude, and last but not least, his physical stature.

It's another trip on the bus to meet another unforgettable family. This time Ty and the gang are off to Champagne, Illinois to help the Montgomerys. Watching their home video, we can see this special family gives 110% to their community which means the last thing on their minds is their own needs.

So, we're thinking Xzibit picked up an all-you-can-ride bus pass since this is the second time he's joining Ty Pennington and the extreme team as they head to Davis County, Kentucky to help the Mattingly family.

We get a two-for-one deal when Kellie Pickler and her younger brother, Eric, get on the bus as Ty and his team head to Beavercreek, Ohio to help out the Terpenning family.

Brace yourself for another one that will leave you in tears. This week Ty and the team head to Lean, Illinois to meet the Stott Family. But before we get there, Tom Wilhelm gets on the bus.

The bus is running on all cylinders en route to Lyme, New Hampshire to meet the Marshall Family. Now this family dedicated to helping others needs a little help itself. Deadly mold has been appearing around their home. Cameron's father, Jay, has tried his best to eliminate it, but the mold keeps coming back.

Raising three daughters on her own and volunteering her free time to Concerns of Police Survivors has left Trina with little time to care for her deteriorating house, which has been ravaged by termites. With the foundation eaten away, the house is on its last legs.

Mary J. Blige joins Ty and gang this week as they head to Erie, PA to meet the Ward Family. Clara Ward and her daughter, Cynthia, run an extraordinary family daycare center. But her deteriorating home/daycare center is in serious need of a makeover.

The Extreme Team makes its way to St. Paul, Minnesota to help out the Morris Family. Sandy Morris was a divorced single mother looking for the best daycare for her children, one that included bilingual education. Unsatisfied with options that were out there, Sandy quit her job as a teacher to start her own daycare.

The Extreme Team heads to Bunker Hill, Indiana to help out the Cowan family. The Cowan home is an old converted barn. Mold issues have forced the family to live only in the upper portion of the house. With medical bills and creditors looking for payments, the Cowans are against the wall and are pleading for help. Well, help has arrived.

Delores Powell brought her family over from Jamaica to give them a better life. Working hard to save money and make ends meet, Delores was able to secure a six-bedroom house. The dream house turned out to be a total nightmare when she found out it was on the city's demolition list. Her only hope is to bring the house up to code. Know anyone who can help?

Tricia Creasey doesn't let anything stop her from teaching, not even cancer. Her husband, William, tells us that even if she's severely sick, she will still go in the next day to teach her 7th grade class. Due to the financial circumstances, the Creasey home repairs have taken a backseat to Tricia's chemotherapy. But the house needs a makeover ASAP!

We're on our way to Maryland with Tyler Perry to lend a hand to the Tripp Family. Tripp and Tamara were college sweethearts who went on to have three beautiful children. They wanted to make a difference in their community, and they offer hot meals to kids whenever they need it. Their home has been open to 25 kids at once, which has taken a toll.

Tobin and Jill Wagstaff first met in a college band where their hearts would beat faster than any drum major ever could. This loving couple married and grew to a family of six. Their love of music inspired them to start a non-profit music school. Unfortunately, the Wagstaffs are at a point where they can't continue with the studio and are unable live in a house that needs serious work.

The Skaggs Family. Over the course of the makeover, we watch the Extreme Team put their skills to use. Tanya sheds some light that this makeover is a perfect way to get Santino some hands-on experience on giving back. Xzibit takes on the task of "pimping" Brian's tractor. Wonder where he picked up those skills.

Sherman Heathcock is an American hero in every respect. While Sherman was serving in Iraq, disaster struck as Hurricane Katrina left the family home badly damaged. Falling trees led to a leaky roof which caused water damage throughout the house. The damage is so bad that the foundation is now giving way. The Heathcocks fear the house may crumble at any moment.

This week we're off to Kemah, Texas to help a truly inspirational couple and their children. The Beaches have adopted nine of their own, five of them having special needs. In 2008, Hurricane Ike hit Texas and caused irreparable damage. The family of 15 now lives in a 35-foot motor home. That simply won't do.

Shorty into their new life, the couple got a call informing them that Amanda's six brothers and sisters were going to be put in foster care. Amanda and Derrick couldn't let that happen. They took in all of Amanda's siblings. Over the years, their home developed a laundry list of problems. The house that Derrick's grandfather built is falling apart. Have no fear, the Extreme Team is here!

Mike and Katrina have battled through their challenges to provide a loving home for their children. However, over $50,000 in repairs is needed and Mike was recently laid off from his job. The Carrs need help and we know a team that will step up to the challenge.

Ty, Paige, Eduardo and Paul are here to help a very special boy, Ethan Starkweather. Ethan suffers from a rare disorder which causes him to never feel full. If he eats without supervision, his stomach may rupture. His mom, Amy, fears the house may become Ethan's deathtrap if the locks on the refrigerator and cabinets ever fail. We know a few folks who will make sure that never take place.

Ty's team renovates a home that is too small to accommodate two disabled family members; NFL player Michael Oher and the Tuohy Family assist with the project.
