Troubled Child
There aren't many films about RAD (reactive attachment disorder) so I was really interested in how this one would manage the subject. (No need to say I ended disappointed)
This is such a terrible film. The writing/edition is so bad, you're left with the sensation you're seeing a (badly) censored version.
Scenes that are supposed to have an impact in the audience fail at building tension because of this (for example, the scene where Elizabeth notices her dog is missing is skipped out). And more important, they forget that you need to show not only tell (we have Annika telling the therapist his husband is being manipulated by Carl but we hardly seen them interact and the few scenes with…
