Located in a very private and quiet part of Lac Johnson, this retreat is nestled amongst the trees with a beautiful view of the lake. A lot of time and thought has gone into creating a calm, comfortable and clean get away with lots of extras to keep you busy.

This three bedroom and two full bath lakehouse sleeps eight comfortably and has ample space inside and out where you can relax and enjoy.

The space
The lakehouse was built in 2011 and is situated on 4.6 acres of land about 70 minutes from downtown Ottawa. This modern lakehouse has three comfortable bedrooms and a loft area that can accommodate nine guests. Pack and play, cot and high chair available upon request. Please note that this house is kid friendly but not baby proof.

This open concept home has a screened in porch with a farm house dining table to enjoy meals. There is also a nice balcony off the kitchen which is a perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee while taking in the majestic views.

The basement has a lovely walkout to a large comfortable deck to enjoy lounging on a sectional couch, cooking up a feast on the BBQ and eating more meals amongst the trees while having wonderful views of the lake.

There is also a newly created children's space with sandbox, playhouse and a saucer swing guaranteed to appeal to the children.

Guest access
This property has a newly renovated waterfront and fire pit area. Please note that there a many stairs to get down to the water. Down by the dock, guests can enjoy the use of a 15 foot canoe, adult and kids kayak and huge floating pad to swim to off the dock. There is also a selection of brand new life jackets to use when accessing the water.

Other things to note
This is our family getaway that we have opened up for guests to enjoy. We expect guests to respect the property and the belongings as their own.

We have a septic tank and will provide septic friendly hand and body soap.

We have a deep-bottom well that is tested regularly. Water is great to drink.

This is a family oriented area and parties are not allowed. Also smoking is NOT permitted in the house but in designated areas where smoke can not filter into the home. We also are not allowing pets at this time.

We have internet which is good for Neflix and surfing the web. It can get slow at times being in the country. The area is suppose to have access to high speed internet soon.

Please note that there are many stairs leading to the water where children will need to be a accompanied.

Check-ins are Mondays after 10 am and check-outs are Sundays at 11 am. We want to ensure there is time for a thorough clean between each guests.

I will try to be there to greet you when you arrive. In the event that I cannot be there to greet you, you will receive a code for the keypad. Either way, I will be available by telephone or text should you have any questions or concerns.
