Seller shakedownrecords sent a very nice copy factory shrink wrapped. There is a little nice surprise inside ( 12" picture ). Would have been better in coloured vinyl, but this is alright. The DVD comes with its CD, but playing vinyl is a fun. Like many records the recorded volume is slightly low which means turning up volume to 2/3rd maximum, but the clarity of song and music is good. It is true that the other main live album, from about 1977, What Do You Want From Live, is much more lively and vigorous, but seems to be unavailable as a 180g re-issue. The DVD has 25 tracks ( vinyl has 12 ). Missing are some of the in between sessions, but also the spaghetti western overture ( done well ), and Ghost Riders in the Sky. For those who like music and non-digital devices when possible CD + vinyl / cassette and DVD / Blu-ray are a must for favourite albums. You can judge the book by its cover in this case.

This is a pretty good indication of what the 1977-1979 tours were like. Not the original Band, but still enough of the old group to make it interesting. Watch this and in your mind add 5 more dancers, 5 more costume changes, more burlesque, and lots more outrageous Fee Waybill! And its just not the same without Re Styles singing "Don't Touch Me There". On a scale of 1 - 10 I'll give the video a 6.5. The music CDs are pretty good for live also.

This cd/dvd is a must for any Tubes fan!!! Good old Fee Waybill should have warmed up his voice a little before the concert but as the concert progresses his performance doesn't disappoint. I saw The Tubes back in the day and couldn't get enough of Remote Control or The Completion Backwards Principle. This set made all those fond memories come racing back. Buy it ASAP!!!

A great show that demonstrates how much better the Tubes were when they had Gary Cambra on board filling the sound out and writing songs with them. This set is a repackaged version of The Tubes Wild West Show - Live In London, which has previously been available as a DVD, a single CD and a DVD & single CD set. With this re-release the whole audio recording of the concert has been made available for the first time on 2 CDs along with the DVD. So for anybody wanting to add the Wild West Show to their collection then this is the set to buy.

If your a tubes fan this will be right up your ally. DVD is clear and sounds great. Few waybill is one of the great rock voices still out there kicking it. Rest of the tubes are rockin right along with him. Enjoy.
