Socket items are unique equipment items which have +Sockets bound to the item! You can insert special items known as 'Seed Spheres' into these +Sockets to add additional options to the item! These 'Seed Spheres' can be crafted, via NPC Seed Master, by refining excellent and ancient items into a 'Seed'.

  • Socket items can be used at level 380.
  • Socket items always have at least one +Socket.
  • Socket items can have up to three +Sockets, except 2-handed weapons.
  • 2-handed weapons can have up to five +Sockets.
  • Seed Spheres can be inserted into +Sockets, via Seed Master.
  • Inserting a Seed Sphere adds its option to the socket item.

  • Non-mastery socket items can be transformed via Seed Master.

Seed Spheres #
Seed Spheres are man-made artifacts which can be inserted into the open +Sockets of items. To create a Seed Sphere, you must first craft a Seed crystal. Then you can combine it with a Sphere to create a Seed Sphere (Lv 1). Furthermore, you can increase its item level up to level 10! When inserted into an item, the option which appears on the Seed Sphere will become bound to the item. Lastly, you should know that Seed Spheres can be removed from items and reused.
Seed Item
Seed (Fire)
  • Seeds are crafted by via Chaos Goblin Machine.
  • Seed Spheres are crafted by via Seed Master.
  • Seed Sphere can be inserted or removed from items via Seed Master.
  • When crafting seeds there is a chance to obtain one of several different Elemental Types.
  • Fire, Lightning, and Ice Seeds may only be inserted into weapon items.
  • Wind, Water, and Earth Seeds may only be inserted into armor items.
  • Each Elemental Type has several different possible +Seed Options.
  • Seeds can only possess one of the possible list of +Seed Options.
  • Once a Seed is inserted into a Sphere, it can be upgraded further via Seed Master.
  • +Seed Spheres can be upgraded up to Level 10.

+Seed Sphere Option Limit
The total summed value of some +Seed Sphere Options are limited by a maximum possible value.
  • Excellent DMG Chance +70% max
  • Critical DMG Chance +80% max
  • Decreases DMG +60% max
  • Reflect DMG by 70% max
  • Increase Shield item DEF by 1,800% max

+Bonus Socket Option #
+Bonus Socket Option may be obtained by chance when inserting Seed Spheres into items. However, the bonus option chance is only rolled when a specific combination of Seed Spheres are inserted into an item. When the correct combination of Seed Spheres are inserted into an item, there will be a chance to obtain the bonus option when the last required Seed Sphere is inserted.
  • Tier 1 Option can be obtained at a 30% chance when inserting Seed Spheres of any +Item Level.
  • Tier 2 Option can be obtained at a 10% chance when inserting Seed Spheres of at least Lv 4.
  • Tier 3 Option can be obtained at a 10% chance when inserting Seed Spheres of at least Lv 8.
  • Preexisting bonus option is rerolled every time a Seed Sphere is inserted or removed, and therefore could be lost.
  • If you do not obtain the bonus option, you can keep rerolling it by removing and reinserting one of the required Seed Spheres in the item.

Tier 1 Option
Can be obtained when inserting Seed Spheres of any +Item Level.



Tier 2 Option
Can be obtained when inserting Seed Spheres between Lv 4 ~ Lv 7.



Tier 3 Option
Can be obtained when inserting Seed Spheres of at least Lv 8.
Armor items
Tier 1 Option
Can be obtained when inserting Seed Spheres of any +Item Level.



Tier 2 Option
Can be obtained when inserting Seed Spheres between Lv 4 ~ Lv 7.



Tier 3 Option
Can be obtained when inserting Seed Spheres of at least Lv 8.
+Socket Set Bonus #
+Socket Set Bonus is unlocked by equipping socket items with the required Seed Spheres inserted into them. For example, to unlock Double DMG Chance you would need to have a socket weapon with a Fire and Ice Seed Sphere and also socket armor items with at least two Earth, three Wind, and three Water Seed Spheres across all equipped armor items.
  • Both bonus options can be obtained at the same time.
  • The Seed Spheres can be of any +Item Level.

  • Socket armor & shield items may possess up to +Socket (x3).
  • 1-Handed Socket weapons may possess up to +Socket (x3).
  • 2-Handed Socket weapons may possess up to +Socket (x5).
  • Socket Bow / Crossbow item may possess up to +Socket (x3).
  • Seed Spheres can be bound into an item's Socket in order to bind its +Seed Option to the item!
  • +Seed Option can be bound to Socket Items via NPC Seed Master.
  • Seed Sphere can be applied to any Socket, in any order.
  • +Bonus Socket Option may be unlocked when specific types of Seed Sphere are applied to specific Sockets of an item.
  • +Set Socket Option may be unlocked when specific types of Seed Sphere are applied to equipped Armor items.

Notice About Bows With x5 +Sockets
  • In previous game versions, Bow and Crossbow items were 2-handed weapons and therefore could have possessed up to +Sockets (x5).
  • In previous game versions, it is known that Socket Bow and Crossbow items were generated with more than +Socket (x3) bound to the item at the same time.
  • Socket Bow and Crossbow items which possess more than +Socket (x3) bound to the item at the same time are considered Discontinued Items, but can still be used in combat.
  • The discontinued versions of these Socket Bow or Crossbow items can have the +Socket restored to +Socket (x3) via NPC Seed Master.
  • This could effect your game-play because the Elf Character Class is restricted from equipping (x2) weapon items (Bow & Quiver) whose sum of +Socket exceeds +Socket (x6).
    • Example: Bow +Socket (x4) cannot be used with Quiver +Socket (x3).
    • Example: Bow +Socket (x3) may be used with Quiver +Socket (x3).
