When I attended a few years ago, I and my friends got sexually assaulted and abused by another student. Admin did nothing, even when we approached as a group. I was told the student didn't know what they were doing because they had autism, which was a complete lie. They continued to be abusive and bragged about lying to adults and finding joy in stalking, harassing, wishing harm on others, etc.
Otherwise I had an okay time. I had an undiagnosed chronic illness and missed a lot of school, but a few staff members did their best to accommodate and make sure I graduated.
I hope that the administration takes victims of abuse seriously, and understands that autism or any other disability does not make one unable to understand their wrongdoings. By letting things like this slide, you tell abusive students their actions are fine to continue.

My time at Cedar Falls High School has been one filled with many ups and downs. While things such as sports and academics are taken very seriously and given the best resources, something Cedar Falls could do to support more of its students is allocate their resources elsewhere. I’ve heard many students outside of sports complain about the amount of funding or priority their clubs or organizations don’t have, as well as physical things wrong with the building that have made it more difficult to learn. Thankfully the physical upkeep of the building is being rebuilt currently, I just hope and wish for next year that they are now able to support a wider range of students.
The best part of my school is that teachers are willing to help students and the teachers are understanding and caring. The worst part of my school is that the number of clubs and opportunities is very limited.
