- RBALSARI1Mumbai, India12 contributionsThe natural waterfalls is a must visit when in Ranchi. There are several ones, of which Dassam is nearest from Ranchi. I was alone and booked a bike for Rs 800/- One can also book a auto or cab. The bike rider was a local and he took me thru the jungle to the mountain peek from where one got a spectacular view of the waterfalls and the surrounding jungle. However, the top view is not possible if travelling by auto or car. There are no food options to speak of and so I suggest you carry eatables while visiting. Also, ensure you leave the area before dark. Best time to visit is in the morning.Written 6 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Go59393684721Ghaziabad, India1 contributionAn ancient temple in the outskirts of Ranchi. I visited it on my way to west Singhbhoom. It's on the main highway. The best part is that you get to enter the sanctom sanctorium for pooja and the preists help you with it. They don't even charge you anything, what you offer is your wish.
I was in a rush when I visited so didn't explore the temple complex.Written 26 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Senior citizens may find it difficult to climb down the steps. Jharkhand Tourism should think of some solution so that senior citizens can also enjoy the beauty of the Jonha Falls and are not deprived of the same.Written 4 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
