Fox & Friends Adds Lawrence Jones as Fourth Co-Host
Fox News announced Thursday that Lawrence Jones is joining Fox & Friends as the morning show’s fourth co-host.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 18, Jones will appear opposite Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt and Brian Kilmeade every weekday morning from 6-9 am ET, while continuing in his role as the franchise’s enterprise reporter.
“Lawrence has his finger on the pulse of what matters to communities across America and his insight has proved invaluable to the Fox & Friends audience,” Fox News SVP of Morning Programming Gavin Hadden said in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming him to our family as he wakes up America alongside our star co-hosts each morning.”
Added Jones: “I am honored to become a part of the cable news legacy Fox News has created with Fox & Friends, the very show where I made my first ever national television appearance. It is truly a privilege to inform our audience every day and I can’t wait to do so each morning.”
Following Jones’ F&F debut, his weekend program Lawrence Jones Cross Country will conclude, and One Nation With Brian Kilmeade will air in its place, Saturdays at 9/8c.

The addition of Lawrence jones to Fox and friends is a welcome addition. I felt he should have been promoted to the 8pm slot instead of Jesse Watters. Lawrence is so much better at everything over Jesse. Jesse Watters is the weakest talent Fox has. His move to prime time eas s huge mistake.
Terry Campbell… I couldn’t agree with you more about Jesse Watters. Jesse was the wrong person to take over Tucker’s time slot. Getting laughs seems to be his main goal. He even says in his Fox commercial clip, “We’re going to represent, inform, and ENTERTAIN”. I made “entertain” all caps because that’s the vibe he gives off. His show is more for entertainment than news.

Given that he came to prominence in 2015 for raising money for a pizza shop that refused to cater a gay wedding, he will make the perfect addition to the team. Although personally, I find TV more riveting when everyone doesn’t represent the same points of view but that’s probably just me.

I’ve been looking forward to something more for LJ. He is a good addition for the younger generation’s viewpoint. I love how he calls Fox and Friends his “family”. He fits right in. I have a feeling in the back of my mind that he will be the replacement for Steve Doocy when he retires……

weekday morning lineup. Is Steve Doocy cutting back?
Doocy is approaching 67, so maybe Jones is the long-term replacement that they want to familiarize with the audience. That way when Doocy decides to exit down the line, they’re already in good shape.

Paying out over $100 Million to settle various sexual assault cases. Roger Ailes, Bill O’ Reilly ( personally paid $32 M to settle one sexual assault case), Greg Kelly. What a “legacy” to live up to.

Jesse Watters should have been the very last person they chose for 8 or for his own show. He is not bright enough. Lawrence Jones, Will Cain, Pete Hedgseth, or especially Piers Morgan. All smart and talented. ,

Love love Jones but having 4 is awkward. Thought it would be, and it is. 3 is smooth, and they can joke around together but I feel 4 is awkward even though I love all 4. Although I think Doocey is too liberal
