Melissa Camacho Common Sense Media This retrospective offers viewers a chance to see what it was like both on and off the field for the teams that competed in 2022's FIFA World Cup. Jan 17, 2024 Full Review Diego Batlle Otroscines.com That said, there is nothing particularly innovative about Captains of the World, but even within the formulaic universe the work in all areas is impeccable and in a good part of its 280 minutes, undoubtedly effective. Due to how brilliant most of the episodes are, it is the absence of others that hurts... it must be soul-crushing to be a fan from a nation that attended the World Cup, only for them to be unrepresented. Cem Y It offers a great story-telling for one of the best world cups ever. Thrilling even though you already know what happened. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/19/24 Full Review Oreva It is a documentary meant to remind its viewers of the reasons why we love this sport. It shows the joy and the pain, the triumph and the despair. And it shows all this through the eyes of the players, coaches, and fans (journalists), showing what the World Cup means to each of them and why they give so much for this piece of silverware. This is a gold mine for football fans, but more importantly, it is an eye-opener for non-fans. It helps them understand why we love this game by showing them the comprehensive backstory of the teams and players beyond just the 90 minutes on the pitch. It is not just another sports documentary by any means, but a well-crafted and well-told story. A must-watch for all. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review JD L What can I say? This show changes the way I view the World Cup. There is so much pressure in every moment of every game. The honor of playing for your country is incredible. The different tactics of every team, and the way the tournament affects each player. It's incredible. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/24 Full Review Ben R Outstanding documentary series! On par with ‘The last dance'. Could not recommend this more. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Jamie H Great Show, very enjoyable and very well done Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/10/24 Full Review Luis H This is pure garbage, the real interviews should be with the referees that carry Argentina. Someone should investigate all of the decision made in this world Cup. Btw Messi is on the island list. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
