Hi. I currently have a broadband and landline package. I may need to drop to landline only.
If I do this i want to confirm I will still have access to my email account as I will not be closing my virgin account just downgrading.
Thanks in advance

Hi @mcmullon
As far as I'm aware VM do not offer a landline only connection, but if they did you would lose your VM email address after 90 days.
Your email address will only remain active as long as you have a current broadband account with VM.

I suspect you need to keep your Broadband for your email to stay. You could drop to a lower tier Broadband, however the price may go up and you may end up with another 18 month contract.
By the way, I wouldn't rely on the VM email anymore, there are too many issues being posted here on these Forums. I would advise you to migrate to a non ISP based email.

Hi @mcmullon
Welcome to the community forums
Sorry to hear you're looking to downgrade your package to landline only. Whilst we do not offer a standard landline only service, we do offer a fixed price landline only service called Talk Protected. This landline service provides inclusive evening and weekend calls and keeps prices fixed for phone-only customers who are over the age of 65 or those who have additional accessibility needs. This was introduced to help some of our most vulnerable customers during the cost of living crisis. More information can be found here if needed.
Our email service is connected to an active broadband account, so you would lose any Virgin, Blue yonder or NTL emails associated with your broadband service.
