The deceptively simple message of ‘Credit Me’ belies the attitude laden sentiments of ROY INC’s vocal delivery. It is ROY INC’s commentary on social and creative injustice in the music and arts arena, where the artist is often overlooked and under played, not acknowledged for their ideas, input, efforts or concepts of their work. This song is a mantra, enabling the artist to stand up and face the aggressor with bravery and highlights the emotional ramifications that unfold with each different situation. Darren Morris’s seriously good musical score underpins ROY INC’s observations, and his beautiful instrumentation compliments the narrative perfectly.

ROY INC. is an exceptional talent - singer, songwriter, arranger/composer and music co-producer, having worked and performed with Frank Ocean, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Grace Jones, Donna Summer, Sting, The Pet Shop Boys, Neneh Cherry, Mica Paris, Suede, The Verve, Living Colour, Johnny Hallyday, Eros Ramazzotti and Cerrone. ROY INC’s 2014 debut album, ‘We Were Here, I’m Just Like You’, saw him working alongside dynamic producers such as Darren Morris (North Street West Studio), Fraser McCormick & Paul Tierney (Burnt Out Stable Girl), Jose Macabra (Primal Uproar), George T and JeanGa (Sons & Sounds Studios) and Camilo Salazar and Matt Stokes (Morley Studios). Club tracks have included the 2016 ‘Music Fills the Air’ with international DJs Terry Farley of ‘Boys Own’ fame and Severino Panzetta (Horse Meat Disco) with remixes by superstar DJ producers Kenny Dope, Hard Ton & Man Without a Clue, Horse Meat Disco, Dave Lee + Derrick Carter

In addition to ROY INC’s musical career, his likeness has been sculpted, photographed, studied and artistically reproduced by such luminaries as Juergen Teller, Sølve Sundsbø, Rankin, Mark Kean, Marcelo Benfield, Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Peter Ashworth, Nick Knight and David Bailey

2024 is bursting with musical outings for ROY INC including forthcoming tracks with Joe ‘Hot Chip’ Goddard Scottish electronic music maestro, George T; ROY’s track; ‘Animal’ with Hannah Holland featuring in Bruce LeBruce’s film, ‘The Visitor’, more ROY INC x Darren Morris collaborative goodness.
