Ernest Hemingway's "Finca Vigía"

American author Ernest Hemingway owned the house from 1939 until 1960. After the Cuban Revolution and after Hemingway's suicide in 1961, the Cuban government took control of the property. Much of his personal property remains in the house. The property was restored in 2007.
