She married Godwin Wulfnothsen Earl of Wessex from 1019 to 1020. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 2 daughters. She died in 1069, in French Flanders, France, at the age of 72.

King Olof Skotkonung converts to Christianity and makes it the official religion of Sweden. Skotkonungj was baptized by the missionary Sigrid in Husaby in Vastergotland. Skotkonung was the first Swedish king to remain Christian throughout his reign.
