First its a very well maintained and clean hotel and casino. But the best is the whole staff is very polite and they go out of there way to be helpful. They say there is going to be a poker tournament in September but haven't trained the dealers. Sports book open from 11-5 and can't cask winning tickets after 5. I booked through Hotels.com so they would have had the relevant details, so I don't see what the issue was at all. My room was nice. None of the food places were open, even though it was not a night for everything to be closed (I am talking 6pm, not late), no reason given for things to be closed. We stopped in with a preset amount to play and time to spend and walked out ahead.... lol.... yes I didn't run out of play money... lol... even won some. It was all fun and they even have a nonsmoking and a smoking section. Free coffee and soda corner.
How I look at it is is like playing pinball or any other video games at the bowling alley if you keep a limit to what you play with. If you can't handle not putting another dollar in when you play then don't start... Please !!! But if you can then have a blast and enjoy.
We even saw KIDS sitting at some of the machines. Not playing them but sitting at them.
We had fun and hope you will also..

We go to the casino ever Tuesday for senior day and they give you $5 or $10 to play with. We have been in a lot of Indian casinos and this one is the best paying one of all. Its clean and has a NON-SMOKING AREA. Plenty of parking spaces and a large handicap area.

Wind River Casino will amaze you if you haven’t been there. It is a very large facility that has slot machines and table games. It also hosts several restaurants. A cafe, a high end restaurant to get specialty foods, and a unique restaurant that allows you to chose your food from several different cuisines to accommodate pretty much any food preference. Staff are friendly and well dressed. They also host cultural events as well as different shows and concerts. This casino also offers a high end hotel at affordable prices.

Shrimp is great, lobster is great also. Shrimp cocktail is fantastic. Service can be questionable however.

Very large with large variety of machines and tables.Denominations are from 1 cent to $5 machine so everyone can find their spot to have fun.They have a room as you enter to your right which is non smoking with few of the older machines I enjoy playing.Everyone is very friendly will answer any questions you might have.Do not pass up the cafe with the best Indian Fry Bread and their Chili was so good I returned a 2nd day.Let's not forget for larger appetites the Indian Taco it is huge.

We visited on a weekday. There are 2 casinos! One is non-smoking, which was a pleasant surprise. The attendants were pleasant when we asked for help with how to play a machine. The 'smoking' side of the casino was busy, the non-smoking side not as busy. The casino and hotel are fairly new and very well appointed. The rooms were beautifully decorated and quiet. A plus was that there was a little sitting area with a love seat - most hotel rooms aren't very comfortable when watching tv - this one was quite nice. The room was quite reasonable as well. We had a wonderful stay and plan to return soon.

We were able to play for a long time and even won a little bit. Cashier is friendly. The deli food was amazing. Large quantities for the price.

Stayed at the hotel and played for a few nights at the casino....had great fun, the Club 55 card gave us $ 30 rooms, food bargains and $5 slot play...they all work hard to keep everything clean, and I won enough money to cover our trip !!!!

Stayed one night in parking lot in RV and they provided free electrical hook up. Very quiet and safe feeling. Had a good time in casino as they had a good selection of slots and table games. Ate in little restaurant and with free comp from card only 2.00. I had the Indian taco which was huge and husband had grilled cheese and ham.

Hello! Yes, our hotel is attached to the casino. Right outside the lobby are gaming machines that continue through out. It is a few minutes walk to the tablegames area and restaurants.
Our hotel and restaurants are non-smoking and there is a designated non-smoking slots area; rest of the gaming floor allows smoking.

We host the Native American Song & Dance Experience in June through August. It is held every Tuesday at 6pm in the Spring Mountain Room of the Wind River Hotel & Casino.
