GIK announced seven electoral lists
The deadline for submission of electoral lists for the elections for the Assembly of the City of Belgrade, 14 cities and 74 local governments, which are being held on June 2, expired at midnight.
The City Election Commission (GIK) in Valjevo announced seven electoral lists for the elections for the Valjevo City Assembly, Kolubarski.rs was told by the GIK.
Number one is the electoral list “Aleksandar Vučić – Valjevo tomorrow”, number two is “Russian party – Russia and Valjevo in the heart – Milija Nestorović”, number three is “Svanuće – United Valjevo can”. Number four is the list “European Green Party – Ecology, green Valjevo – lifestyle”, number five is the list “Mokret sad – dr Snežana Mijatović, Đorđe Pavlović – Different”, number six “Patriotic opposition of Valjevo, POKS – We are the strength of the people, dr Branimir Nestorović” and under number seven is the list “Kasnimo” – People’s Party – Mirjana Jugović, Serbian Movement Dveri – Stanko Ranković.
According to the Law on Local Elections, the electoral list is submitted directly to the election commission no later than 20 days before the voting day. The Electoral Commission determines the collective electoral list and publishes it on the web presentation no later than 15 days before the voting day.
The voter list will also be closed 15 days before the election, when the total number of voters in each of the local governments who have the right to vote and who can vote will be determined. The final number of voters will be determined three days before the election, by which time changes are possible through the relevant ministry.
According to the amendments to the Law on the Unified Voter List, adopted by the Parliament of Serbia, voters who changed their place of residence after July 3, 2023 will not be able to vote at their new address in the upcoming local elections.
