Peter Bradshaw Guardian Reasonably entertaining, though probably better as a DVD rental. Rated: 3/5 Jan 20, 2007 Full Review Paul Arendt BBC.com The latest in a long line of lowbrow slacker comedies of the Clerks persuasion, Employee Of The Month is funnier and smarter than most of its contemporaries. Rated: 3/5 Jan 9, 2007 Full Review Anna Smith Empire Magazine A likeable cast is underused in this cut-price guy comedy with only the occasional laugh. Rated: 2/5 Jan 4, 2007 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Stand-up comic Dane Cook is left in a discount comedy. Rated: 1.5/4.0 Sep 7, 2020 Full Review Ali Gray TheShiznit.co.uk Quite frankly, it makes perfect sense that Employee Of The Month is a terrible comedy - there's no one funny involved. Rated: 2/5 Nov 3, 2012 Full Review Jane Boursaw Common Sense Media Predictable, crude comedy aimed at teens. Rated: 2/5 Jan 1, 2011 Full Review Read all reviews

Nathan W The first thing I noticed about this movie was how much it reminded me of "Waiting", which came out 1 year prior. (Similar plots and similar acting styles of our main characters). The second thing I noticed was the cast. It's a real who's who of obsolete comedic talent. Dane Cook, Harland Williams, and Andy Dick... C'mon now. I will say that Cook has a certain charisma and charm that somewhat helps prop this one up. Dax Shepard's performance was even better, but neither was able to generate many laughs. The dialogue was largely unfunny, most of the deliveries felt awkward, and there weren't nearly enough workplace shenanigans for my taste. The potential for greatness was there, but strange casting choices and poor execution made it feel a cheap copy of its slightly more successful predecessor. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/22/24 Full Review Kevin D Amazed at the low score of this film, it's my go to film for a laugh. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/24 Full Review James F I love this movie for the nostalgia factor but that's about it. To be honest the film is trash Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Larry K Top tier comedy movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/13/24 Full Review Kevin S It's not high-brow comedy, but it's not low-brow either. Just a fun romp that's easy to enjoy if you're looking for simple laughs and a good time. Harland Williams shines in his role and has one of the best lines in the movie concerning a certain drummer. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/24 Full Review Keith N Basic stupid film, it'll pass time Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
