A few questions that will help others here provide you some guidance:

Did you restart the computer after the Desktop Video software was installed?

Have confirmed that there is a Thunderbolt 1/2 cable connecting from the device to the adapter?

Have you tried a different cable?

Lastly, have you been able to test it to a computer that has a native Thunderbolt 1/2 connection and confirm it's seen there?

What was the answer? I am experiencing something SIMILIAR - as my thunderbolt is turning the UltraStudio Mini Recorder light white, and it is being recognized within the computer - but I not getting a signal from the camera - it's a GH4.

Update - after adjusting the system frequency on the GH4 to 24Hz (Cinema) I am able to get a verified signal within OBS as well as Blackmagic's Media Express. I am also able to get a signal verified when I set the system frequency to 50Hz (Pal).

However, I am still unable to get a signal within any online apps or sites such as YouTube, Skype, StreamYard, Zoom, etc...
