Brad Miller played 14 seasons in the NBA. However, his career could have taken a drastic turn if Shaquille O’Neal had connected a punch during a 2002 game between the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers. Big Shaq threw a right-handed pinch at Miller but fortunately, Miller ducked as it barely grazed his ear.

Miller recalled the incident on “All The Smoke” with Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes, where he shared he was trying to foul Shaq. Unbeknownst to Miller, Shaquille O’Neal was coming for him with a fist, but Miller turned just in time, and the punch barely missed him.

I would have been sucking through a straw. I mean, that might have been his fullest swing.

Miller was relieved that Shaq missed, as the consequences could have been severe. The incident was a rare moment of Shaq losing his cool, but fortunately, no one was hurt, and the two players buried the hatchet at a later All-Star Game.

Miller played 14 seasons in the NBA, earning two All-Star selections, and is remembered for his soft touch from the outside and no-nonsense big man play. The incident with Shaq is a lasting memory, and Miller is grateful to have avoided serious injury.

Shaquille O’Neal comes for Shannon Sharpe

A feud had erupted between Shaquille O’Neal and Shannon Sharpe. It was sparked by Sharpe’s accusation that O’Neal is jealous of Nikola Jokic’s third NBA MVP title. Sharpe made the comment on The Nightcap podcast, suggesting O’Neal is envious of Jokic’s success and that his own name is never mentioned in the “Greatest of All Time” conversation.

O’Neal then responded with a lengthy message on his Instagram account, where he accused Sharpe of being jealous and trying to stay relevant by gossiping. He went further to point out his own accolades, which included four NBA championships, three Finals MVPs, and being ranked in the top 50 and top 75 of all-time great players.

The feud seems likely to continue, with Sharpe yet to respond to O’Neal’s message. O’Neal will return to Inside the NBA on Sunday evening, and fans are eagerly awaiting Sharpe’s response.
