Was this how it looked to the naked eye too?
Yeah I just tried to see something for over two hours and got zip, I'm sad
I'm super depressed. I feel like I missed out on this incredible thing everyone else has incredible photos of. My phone's sort of old and I got a late start. Briefly saw the sky change color for a minute but certainly didn't see anything life changing. Going to go home and cry myself to sleep now. :'(
Yeah I drove straight north towards less light pollution for like 2 hours and saw nothing lol. All these photos seem like you could see it with the naked eye but I saw nothing at all! Maybe I should've just stayed in one spot and sat outside with my phone instead. Well maybe we'll get lucky and have another chance someday soon
Yeah. It's weird. I saw amazing photos from Cleveland which is north of here. But the most colors I saw was heading south from Lewis center. But it was very short lived. I'm hoping the awe was mostly via iPhone camera, so I don't feel like I missed out quite as much. I'm going to call it a night and continue sulking.
