Mother of actress Farrah Fawcett dies

Pauline Alice Fawcett, mother of actress Farrah Fawcett who appeared in some of her daughter's films and TV shows, one of which premiered Wednesday, died March 4. She was 91.

Pauline Fawcett also accompanied Farrah at special functions, including a charity ball at the White House during Ronald Reagan's administration.

With her husband of 67 years, James, Pauline Fawcett appeared this week in the premiere of a TV series, Chasing Farrah.

Two back-to-back episodes of the series aired Wednesday on TV Land.

Pauline Fawcett also appeared in a 1979 made-for-TV movie, Sunburn, starring Farrah Fawcett and Charles Grodin.

In videos, Pauline Fawcett appeared in Silver Foxes Aerobics with Richard Simmons, a fitness program for the elderly.

A native of Henryetta, Okla., Pauline Alice Evans Fawcett was born Jan. 30, 1914.

Pauline and James Fawcett, an oil field contractor, lived in Corpus Christi before moving to Houston in 1965.

Besides her daughter and husband, she is survived by grandsons Redmond Fawcett O'Neal and Greg Walls.

Services were held March 9.
