Dos Pueblos is a great school, which at excels at higher level academics for higher level students, as well as support classes for students who need more assistance. Either way Dos Pueblos is a great school for college readiness, support, school involvement/activities. Another great thing about Dos Pueblos is staff and teachers actually care about their students, their health, mental health, and futures. Students can easily find trusted adults on campus and can go to school knowing that someone on campus will be there for them.
For me, Dos Pueblos High School has been overall an enjoyable experience. However, I am currently in the International Baccalaureate program and want to specify that as part of this elevated learning experience in which I have received a high level of education, my experiences come from this place on campus. I do not want to generalize the entirety of education or teacher assistance at this school, but I have quite enjoyed the education levels and offerings, the inclusivity of this school, and the friends and connections I have made while attending. coming from someone who started high school in 2020, I think that this school has really supported our class and the following classes in that regard. All this aside, the food in our district is, simply put, awful, and I am not generally picky, but I will not miss the food here in any capacity.
I have had a great experience! One of the best parts is that I'm able to take SBCC classes on campus, which is super helpful because it has allowed me to take way more math classes than are offered.
