ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Points Table: Standings in Group A, Group B, Group 1 and Group 2

The T20 World Cup 2022 is underway in Australia and the tournament has already unveiled some exciting contests and shocking results. Two-time champions West Indies were knocked out in the first round while Ireland and Zimbabwe were involved in major upsets. Ireland defeated England in a rain-curtailed fixture. Zimbabwe beat Pakistan to take two crucial points.

New Zealand and India top the tables in Group 1 and Group 2 respectively. England handed New Zealand the defeat with India losing to South Africa.

Defending champions Australia made a disappointing start to the campaign after they were thumped by New Zealand.

Sri Lanka kept themselves alive in the tournament with a six wicket win over Afghanistan. As a result, Afghanistan have been knocked out. England clinched an important win against New Zealand to keep themselves in the hunt as well.

Netherlands defeated South Africa in their last group stage match and the Proteas were knocked out of the tournament.

India finished as group winners following their dominant win over Zimbabwe in their final group match.

The semi-finals are slated to take place on 9th November and 10th November in Sydney and Adelaide respectively while the final will be held on 13th November in Melbourne.
