Corpus student wins Byron Now poetry competition
Congratulations to PhD candidate Benedick McDougall who successfully took on the challenge of creating verse or prose inspired or provoked by Cambridge alumnus Lord Byron.
Benedick, a student in Classics here at Corpus, was one of three winners who were invited to read their new work at the Byron Festival Poetry Readings at Trinity College, where Byron was a student, last month to coincide with the 200th anniversary of Byron’s death on 19 April 1824.
Isherwood in Cambridge
An exhibition and series of events about Corpus alumnus Christopher Isherwood's (1904-86) time at Corpus is currently being held in the Parker Library.
