The 20% discount applies to Economy and Premium Economy fares (excluding taxes and surcharges) and the 10% discount applies to Business fares (excluding taxes and surcharges).

The 20% and 10% discounts are valid for round-trip tickets sold and operated by ITA Airways, direct to Italy and departing from Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Washington Chicago, Toronto. Flights must be purchased between 05/08/2024  and 05/13/2024 and taken between 05/13/2024 and 06/30/2024 (last permitted return date).

To take advantage of the discount, you must register for the Volare program exclusively through this link (or through the link in the email, if received) between May 2 and May 6, 2024.

To complete the registration, you need to access the email and click on the appropriate link. 

The customer will receive the discount code by email on May 7, 2024.

Youth fares are excluded from the promotion. The discount only applies to adult fares.  

The promotional code cannot be combined with other promotional codes. 

The discount cannot be combined with the discount for residents of Sicily. Flights to/from Sardinia are excluded from the promotion. Flights from Milan to Trieste and vice versa are excluded from the promotion (including any connecting flights that include the aforementioned flights).

The discount does not apply if the value is less than 1 Euro.

The discount only applies to the first ticket issued. In case of reissue, with or without penalty, the previously discounted amount will be added on. 

The initiative applies to roundtrip flights sold and operated by ITA Airways to Italy departing from Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington ,Toronto . Discount does not apply to domestic flights.

Terms and conditions

The triple points are considered as non-qualifying.

The promotion is valid exclusively on flights sold and operated by ITA Airways departing from Chicago, Toronto or New York with final destination Italy or departing from Italy with final destination Chicago, Toronto or New York, bought in the period between April 18, 2024, and May 6, 2024, and flying by June 30, 2024 (last permitted return date).

More specifically:

• buy a one-way or round-trip flight from Chicago to Italy (or vice versa) in the period between April 18, 2024, and May 6, 2024, and fly by June 30, 2024;
• buy a one-way or round-trip flight from Toronto to Italy (or vice versa) in the period between April 18, 2024, and May 6, 2024, and fly from May 10, 2024 to June 30, 2024;
• buy a one-way or round-trip flight from New York to Italy (or vice versa) in the period between April 18, 2024, and May 6, 2024, and fly by June 30, 2024.

Triple non-qualifying points will only be credited for one-way or round-trip journeys from Chicago to Rome Fiumicino and vice versa, from Toronto to Rome Fiumicino and vice versa or from New York to Rome Fiumicino and vice versa.

The promotion is deemed valid only on the direct routes being promoted. With reservations that also include routes not covered by the promotion, points will only be awarded for the routes on promotion. For example, on the Toronto-Rome-Rome-Milan route (with a stopover in Rome), points will only be credited for the Toronto-Rome route.

To avail yourself of the promotion you must be a Volare member.

Passengers with group bookings are included in the promotion.

5) In case of failure to match the status, the members will receive an email to inform them of the negative result.

6) Any requests that do not include all the requested data or that are accompanied by illegible documentation will not be processed.

How to request a Status Match?

Request a Status Match and join one of our exclusive clubs by completing two simple steps:

1) If you haven't already subscribed, sign up to the Volare program

2) Send an email from the address with which you signed up for the Volare program to statusmatch@ita-airways.com following the instructions below:

a.   Contained in the subject of the email: Status Match 2022

b.   Listed in the text of the email: Full name; "Program of origin" and "Status of origin" (e.g. Miles & More – HON Circle); Volare Frequent Flyer number, ticket number (according to the criteria listed in point 2 of the summary conditions)

c.   Please attach a legible copy of your current valid Frequent Flyer program card (digital or physical) and a copy of your identity card¹  (pdf, jpg format)

Your Status Match request will be reviewed and you will be sent a email to confirm if your status has been recognized within 60 days.

¹ The data on the identity card will not be processed but will be used exclusively to verify that the name and surname shown on it match those on the loyalty card.

2) From 15 March to 15 April 2022, members can participate in the Status Match campaign by registering for the Volare program of ITA Airways (if they are not already members) and request for us to match their current status within another loyalty program so they can access one of our exclusive clubs.

3) The Status Match campaign can only be joined by members belonging to premium tiers (tiers not accessible simply by signing up to the program, e.g.  Ulisse, Freccia Alata, Freccia Alata Plus, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Frequent Traveller, Senator, HON Circle). Those who have already joined the previous edition of the same campaign and who have already been granted access to one of our exclusive clubs as provided therein will not be able to take part in this Status Match campaign.

4) The new status will be recognized in ITA Airways systems as soon as the matching process is completed and the members will receive a service communication via email confirming this recognition by 15/05/2022.

5) If the status is not matched, you will receive an email of negative result no later than 15/05/2022 in which it will be specified which guidelines indicated in the regulation have not been followed.

6) The new status will be available and visible to members as soon as the process is completed matching process and by 15/05/2022.

7) The digital card will be available and visible to members as soon as the matching process is completed and at latest by 15/05/2022.

8) Membership of the exclusive club recognized under this Status Match campaign will be valid for 1 (one) calendar year starting from 15/04/2022.

9) Any requests that do not include all the requested data or that are accompanied by illegible documentation will not be processed

 

All clients registered in the Volare program who purchase a flight sold and operated by ITA Airways between 01/03/2022 and 31/03/2022 scheduled to fly in the period between 01/03/2022 and 31/08/2022 (last return date) will obtain double Volare points.

Double points will be considered qualifying and non-qualifying and will be credited by September 31, 2022.

Eligible for the promotion are all those who sign up for the Volare loyalty program by November 15, 2021, and who have purchased one round-trip flight or two single-trip flights scheduled to take place by December 31, 2021.

The Welcome Bonus is awarded once you have completed your registration and amounts to 10,000 qualifying and non-qualifying points.

The points will be credited by 28/02/2022.
