Beatrice Borromeo’s Five Royal Wedding Gowns

July’s wedding season ended on a high note, particularly for the bride, Beatrice Borromeo, who celebrated two wedding ceremonies in five dresses that will go down in royal wedding history. The celebrations kicked off on July 25th, when the Italian heiress, the daughter of Count Carlo Ferdinando Borromeo and Countess Paola Marzotto, married Pierre Casiraghi, the youngest son of Princess Caroline of Monaco and the late Stefano Casiraghi and the grandson of Princess Grace Kelly, in a civil ceremony in Monaco. For the occasion, the bride chose a Valentino Haute Couture long blush pink chiffon gown with gold lace. She then stepped into an embellished cloud print backless gown, also signed Valentino, for the evening celebrations.

However, these were not the only dresses that Beatrice would don as just this weekend, the couple traveled to Northern Italy to celebrate another round of “I dos.” For the pre-wedding party, the bride turned to Italian designer Alberta Ferretti for a long-sleeve embroidered gown and topped off her boho look with small white flowers that accented her tousled hair.

On Saturday, during the religious ceremony, the new bride exchanged vows in a custom-made Armani Privé lace dress in front of guests that included designer Diane von Fürstenberg, singer Lana Del Rey, editor- in-chief of Vogue Italia, Franca Sozzani Italian socialite Bianca Brandolini D’Adda, and Poppy Delevingne. At the reception, the bride chose a Grecian style bespoke wedding gown, also by Armani Privé.
