Scream VI retains the tongue in cheek jabs at itself and the horror/slasher genre that many believe the original Scream revitalized so many years ago, while also keeping the gore and kill count high.

Though the film would have been better if it utilized NYC more. With non-stop danger throughout the city. Scream 6 has its moments nevertheless. There's just not the best acting once it's revealed who is bad.
