Gunflint Lodge & Outfitters is a classic resort nestled into the heavy forest on the south shore of Gunflint Lake. Lakeside fireplace cabins, ranging in size from one to five bedroom are scattered along the shore adjacent to the main lodge where the registration and dining room is located. The cabins are very nice and comfortable, having a fireplace in the living room, nice sleeping queen and king sized beds, full kitchens, private saunas, and many have a washer/dryer and a spa tub.

We’re a smaller resort, open year round with Northwoods cabins and cottages. We offer camping cabins and campsites for RV’s or tent camping in the summer. We’re a little harder to find since we’re smaller and can’t advertise with the big boys. Often people come in for ice cream, or supplies from the grocery store only to say “I never knew you were here!” Once guests find us they usually return with friends. Many feel as though this is a home away from home.
